  • Seed Swap ~ 8am-noon ~ FREE - but bring seeds if you have them to share
  • Solar Oven Demonstration ~ 8am to noon ~ FREE
  • Green Streets information booth and presentations ~ 8am to noon ~FREE
  • Rain Barrel Building Workshop ~ 8:00 and 10:00 am ~ $40 parts fee.  Pre-registration is required.
  • Seed Ball Workshop ~ 8:30 and 10:30 am ~ FREE

The WMG Approach

We offer an adaptive, collaborative approach to developing sustainable solutions wherever we may work. We work with local communities to identify and prioritize resource needs, foster individual and community investment, develop practical solutions, and enable action.

WMG works in both rural and urban settings on issues related to soil and water resources. Primary topics we address include:

  • Rainwater Harvesting: Rooftop and Landscape Systems
  • Greywater Re-use
  • Sanitation: Composting for households, communal, or schools
  • Solid waste disposal: composting, vermicomposting, waste recycling
  • Watershed Management: ecolocogical and landuse assessments, design, restoration
  • Agriculture: soil and water conservation, kitchen gardens
  • Agroforestry: reforestation, aforestation, woodlot management, organic practices
  • Geographical Information Systems (GIS): development, mapping, analysis, management

  • Rapid Community Assessments
