WMG offers the following services through our Green Streets-Green Neighborhoods program:
- Consulting services (fee-based): WMG can conduct walk-through assessments of watershed/stormwater improvement opportunities, provide design input on community projects, and act as a community liaison with government or private/commercial interests.
- Neighborhood Leaders Program: WMG periodically offers hands-on programs to equip community residents with knowledge, tools, and hands-on experience that they can use to address stormwater quality issues in their own neighborhoods. For more information on this program, contact James MacAdam.
- Public workshops (free): Visit WMG’s Events Calendar for a listing of upcoming workshops, or join our volunteer email list.
- Presentations to neighborhood associations (free, one-time): Upon request, WMG staff will present on water harvesting basics and neighborhood stormwater practices to neighborhood and homeowners’ associations.
- Project development (fee - project dependent): WMG works with neighborhoods to find grant opportunities and develop projects that integrate conservation and community development.
