Fruit Tree Subsidy available for Co-op Greywater Workshops

Thanks to the wonderful talk given by Jesus Garcia, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, at the Co-op potluck last Tuesday, many of us now have a great appreciation of the historical and cultural importance of fruit trees in orchards and back yards in our region.

Financial incentives available for Arizona and Tucson residents

Thinking of New Year resolutions to conserve water? There are a number of financial incentives out there to help residents. 
  • AZ Income Tax Credit. The state of Arizona offers an income tax credit for 25% of the cost of any residential water conservation system up to $1,000. This tax credit is effective for taxable years from Dec 31, 2006 until January 1, 2012, and can be carried forward for up to five years. Click here for more information and the application
